Raise the Paddle

Skin cancer is the most common type of cancer in the US. Basal and squamous cell cancers are the most common types of skin cancer. Melanoma is less common but causes almost all skin cancer deaths. The good news is that you can do a lot to protect yourself and your family. American Cancer Society is committed to ending melanoma skin cancer as we know it – but they cannot do it alone. Raise the Paddle donations made at the Youngstown Cattle Baron’s Ball will be restricted to melanoma cancer research to help ensure that every person who receives a cancer diagnosis can have the chance to survive and thrive.

Your support will provide much needed resources in the fight against cancer to neighbors in our own community, and will help reduce the disparities and increase equity in the cancer space across the continuum.
